Scholarly Editing is an open-access, peer-reviewed digital publication, updated annually, that advances the theory and practice of textual editing and recovery across disciplines. It publishes work that preserves and centers the histories, voices, and cultural contributions of marginalized communities, including Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian American, Pacific Islander, LGBTQ+, women’s, and Global South populations. The volumes feature traditional and experimental editorial approaches, including community-based projects, oral histories, decolonizing methodologies, and works that challenge the single-author model. Its contents include essays, critical editions, project and tool reviews, teaching materials, and interviews. Contributions are accepted from all disciplines and career stages, including public historians and community scholars.
If you are interested in submitting for inclusion in a future journal, please contact the editorial team at Scholarly Editing after reviewing this link: https://scholarlyediting.org/call/.
